A 45 minute long, Guided Storytelling Tour.

Experience traditional Irish myths, legends and folktales, performed by one of our talented storytellers!

Tours leave every 30 minutes, from 10:30 – 17:30, 7 days a week.

Tickets ranging from €13 – €18.

Suitable for ages 6 and up. Spaces are limited, so booking in advance is recommended.

This October, join the Museum’s Storytellers for a special edition of Darkland.
Voyage into the uncharted waters on an immersive, hour long storytelling experience. Meet strange characters, hear their grisly stories and listen closely – your safe return may depend on it.

Darkland -The Last Boat will be replacing our regular Darkland shows for the month of October.

The Last Boat will feature live performances of traditional Irish folktales by a talented cast of storytellers.

Get a free glimpse of one of Ireland’s most intriguing visitor attractions and learn about the dark side of Irish folklore.
Out on the cold Atlantic, at the mercy of every wave, they felt wild Killala waken. What they dragged up from the depths, nobody was prepared for. Who decides what to do when nobody knows? Join our storyteller in a mysterious tale of the unforgiving sea.

This taster event features a performance of storytelling in the Irish tradition.
Our stories are not for the faint of heart. This is a 13+ event, not suitable for young listeners.
Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before your booking.
